Testimony of the Healing and Soaking Prayer Service

On January 27, 2010 at one of the healing services the Church of Apostles holds every six weeks, the Holy Spirit moved and healed.

“At Morning Bible Study this Sunday a man from Bridgeport Rescue Mission stepped up to me and wanted to thank God and our team for the last healing service. Being healed from the desire for alcohol, ‘he said it's gone’,” said Penny White head of Pastoral Care Ministry.

In addition to his cravings for alcohol being healed, his recently operated on hand, which he could not close before the healing service, is now movable.

“He said ‘4 people prayed over him,’ he was beyond grateful,” said Penny.

Focusing on the giving God the credit, Penny said the Lord healed through worship, His word, soaking prayer, and the laying of hands.
“Somewhere that night, the Lord attended him, as well as others. The beauty of us circulating and praying over everyone is sweet and I believe, powerful,” said Penny.
